The European Education Of Secularization During The Renaissance

The secularization of European education in the Renaissance,that is,the transition of European education from medieval religious education to secular education.The secularization of education is a dynamic development process,different from medieval religious education,secular education is aimed at the control of the church.This does not mean that the disappearance of religious education,during this period,religious education still exists,but the weakening of religious education and the rise of secular education,and even contradictions,conflicts and compromises between the two forces can be seen as the process of secularization of education.At present,for the discussion of this issue,the domestic scholars mainly focus on the Renaissance itself or secular education in a country.Although foreign scholars to study the European Renaissance European education secularization began earlier,but the focus of the study is different,the data is relatively scattered.With the theme of secularization of European education,it is rare to systematically discuss the transition from European religious education to secular education.This leaves some room for this writing.By analyzing the religious characteristics of medieval education and the dominant position of the church in education,this paper points out the existence of secular educational factors in the Middle Ages.This paper analyzes the background of secularization from the perspective of humanistic education and print communication,emphasizes the secularization of education in this period,that is,the secularization of educational goals and educational content,the new development of secular schools,and summarizes the social impact of secularization of education.In addition to the introduction and conclusions of this paper,the subject also includes three chapters.The introduction part mainly elaborates the definition of "secularization" concept,combs the related research at home and abroad,expounds the basic theory and method of this article.The first chapter mainly discusses medieval religious education.In this period,the purpose of religious education is to train the clergy,therefore,this stage of education has obvious religious characteristics.On the one hand,religious education itself has some secular educational factors;on the other hand,under the monopoly of religious education,secular schools have also developed.The second chapter analyzes the trend of secularization of European education in the Renaissance period from the historical data.It mainly analyzes the background of secular education,the secularization of Educational objectives and contents,as well as the new development of secular schools.In the third chapter,according to the secular factors embodied in secular education,this paper analyzes the influence of secularization on the Renaissance society.This paper mainly analyzes the secularization of education from the following angles:the popularization of educational objects,the improvement of public literacy rate,and the anti-secularism in the Trend of Secularization of Education.The last part of this article summarizes the secularization of European education in the Renaissance.It is noteworthy that,in the Renaissance,the society experienced turbulence and differentiation,from religious education to secular education,had a profound impact on society at that time.At the same time,it points out the reasonableness of the existence of medieval religious education and summarizes the characteristics of secular education in the Renaissance.
