Germany is the earliest country to come up with the compulsory education in the world,and this educational thought can be dated from the stage of religious reform.Before the reformation,the German education has been controlled by the church,after the medieval education reform within ruling class,and the Renaissance humanists' education views makes the education gradually changes to the secular,and people receive the education becomes a popular trend in the religious reform.In October 31,1517,the Germany break out the religious reform,and this reform movement not only makes the German political,economic,social changes have occurred,but also changes in education.During this period,Lutheran reformers follow the "justification by faith" principle,Martin Luther is put forward the popularization of compulsory education thought first,then Bugenhagen vigorously advocate the idea of development of primary education,the thought of Melanchthon transforms the middle school and Sturm found the Gymnasium,all of these reformers'thoughts ultimately become a trend of education thought,and then it is the national education thought.This paper will be divided into three parte to elaborate the process of the generation and development of the thoughts of the national education.First,it is the background of the national education thought,fiom.the beginning of medieval's education secularization,the secular diversion in the period of renaissance,and then the religious reform period,the secular education became a popular trend.Second,analysed the various educational reformers of the reformation education thought,like Martin Luther,Bugenhagen,Melanchthon,Sturm,through these education thoughts we finally summed up the idea of national education thought.Finally,it will explain the effect of this trend at the time and put forward the education reform of future education reformer.
