A Survey Of Chinese Cultural Education In Korea In Recent 10 Years

Since the establishment of diplomatic relationships between China and Korea in 1992,the two countries formed positive friendships overall,such as in areas of politics,economics,society,and culture.As China developed,more Koreans wanted to understand Chinese culture as well as the Chinese language.The importance of culture education has become increasingly interesting;thus,Korea has begun to emphasize the cultural understanding of foreign language education since the late 1990s.Language and culture can never be separated,and the Chinese language education also cannot be divided from the Chinese culture.This paper will analyze the research trends of Korea's academia and will aim to explore the location of Chinese cultural education in Korea today.Furthermore,based on existing research materials,the current status and problems of Chinese culture education in high schools and universities will be discussed.Cultural education in high schools centers on ' cultural education during the Chinese language education',while the culture education in universities is not only a 'cultural education during the Chinese language education' but also a 'specialized culture education',thus this study plans to identify and suggest problems through these two aspects.
