With the rise of"culture hot"in the circle of teaching Chinese as a foreign language since 80s of last century, teaching of cultural factors has been a hot spot of culture research. The present studies of cultural factors teaching are mainly based on theoretical background. Studies based on practical teaching, such as what kind of factors should be taught, when and how to teach are rarely seen. The study of teaching cultural factors is an indispensable component to construct and improve the theoretical system. As a united "cultural framework" of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has not been into effect, so the study of cultural factors clearly fall behind the other areas.This study is a practical one about cultural factors teaching, proceeded from through making a research to two textbooks of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Based on studying the developing trends and current situation of the textbooks, comprehensively organizing the development and achievements of cultural factors, the paper analyzes the cultural factors in Climb and Development of Chinese and inquiring into the classification of these cultural factors by consulting certain classifying standards. Hope that this paper can provide certain of data and a useful reference to future textbooks compiling and cultural factors teaching, and make cultural factors teaching to a higher level.
