"Experiencing Chinese"(high school series 1, 2) and "Learning Chinese in Thais"(1), the two sets of textbooks are compiled specifically for Thai students of primary stages.This a rticle explore both advantage and disadvantage of teaching materials in terms of cultural facto rs through the relevant theoretical and practical experience and teaching material.In order to provide help for the compilation and revision of textbooks in the future.The thesis consists of four chapters:Chapter one mainly introduces the reason and the res earch object of this article. In the process of combing the results of previous studies, it further clarifies the definition of cultural factors the relationship between teaching materials and tea ching Chinese with cultural factors, thus it can determine the main research methods and con tent.The second chapter analyzes the selection of cultural factors under the same topic in thes e two sets of textbooks, and finds that Learning Chinese in Thailand involves more detailed d escription and comparison of Chinese and Thai culture. The third chapter is about Chinese tea ching materials culture medium in two sets of textbooks, it discovers that the media in Exper iencing Chinese is more diverse.and more conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learni ng Chinese. In the fourth chapter, the use experience of these two materials were analyzed an d summarized. Thus the author proposes that in order to make better development of Chinese teaching in Thailand, the editors of cultural factors in the selection of teaching materials shoul d be focused on comparison of Chinese and Thai culture, content closing to life, cultivating st udents’ communicative competence and interest in learning Chinese. For Thailand Chinese te achers, they should draw a clear distinction between the primary and the secondary, select cu ltural projects reasonablly, make students to be center.
