College English Teaching Requirements puts forward new requirements and challenges to college English writing teaching,and it is an urgent need to cultivate innovative talents with excellent English writing quality.College English writing teaching,as a subject to test students' English knowledge,has a long way to go in the course of cultivating high-quality talents.The successful teaching design for college English writing is the guarantee and support of English writing teaching,which can make the teaching more effective,and promote the development of students' writing proficiency.But in fact,the current college English teaching design is not satisfactory.The flipping classroom,as a new teaching form,has gained good results in English teaching practice.Analyzing the data of questionnaire on the current college English teaching design in college English writing,the author introduces the flipping classroom into college English writing design.Based on and guided by Humanism Theory,Constructivism and Cooperative Learning,flipping classroom fully embodies the students-centered teaching and adheres to the idea of “all for students”.Thus it can solve the existing problems in traditional teaching design,enhance the teaching effect of college English writing and optimize the writing teaching class.Therefore,this study is of some research value.In the practice of designing the flipping classroom in college English writing,three principles of wording,sentence formation and paragraph construction are flipped as the main teaching contents,of which the wording principles are used as an example to elaborate the teaching design of flipping classroom and its implementation process,its learning tasks in the college English writing.Thereafter,flipping classroom and traditional writing teaching design are compared from different angles.Meanwhile,assessment is made by means of interview,evaluation of the implementation of teaching design,analysis of students' scores and peer evaluation.Conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)Analysis from teaching design's perspective: emphasizing on “student-centered” and“all for students”,flipping classroom teaching design pays more attention to students' learning,thus is more humanism than the traditional classroom.(2)Analysis from teachers' perspectives: the teaching design in flipping classroom fully embodies the fact that students are the dominant factors and teachers play an auxiliary role,helping students create an atmosphere of knowledge construction,which shows that the teachers are the guides for knowledge learning;(3)Analysis from students' participation: in flipping classroom,students' engagement level before class,in class are much higher than that in traditional classroom.At the same time,students' creative thinking is developed in the process of question exploration.(4)Analysis from the time of teaching and learning: in flipping classroom,the absorption of new knowledge is finished before the lecture,saving more time for students to explore,thus students' learning time exceeds teacher's teaching time;flipping the classroom enables teachers to fix attention to solving difficulties of a small number of students,making it possible for teachers to become concerned about individuals.(5)Analysis from the teaching effect: the teaching concept of flipping classroom is built on “student-centered” and “all for students”,so great importance is attached to students' needs,stimulation of students' enthusiasm and cultivation of the ability of self-learning in the whole process of teaching and learning.After the evaluation and analysis of flipping classroom in college English writing,it can be found that the teaching effect is better than that of traditional teaching design,which improves students' writing proficiency.In summary,the conclusions that the author draws in this study are that education will become stronger humanism and teaching and learning in writing will become more effective if the teaching elements are not changed,teaching procedures and teaching designs are carefully made and a pleasantly relaxing learning atmosphere is created.The innovation in this paper is to elaborate the process of teaching design in college English writing teaching based on flipping classroom and carefully make a detailed teaching design about it.
