An Interpreting Internship Report On The Commissioning Conference Interpreting Of CALACA CFB Coal-fired Power Plant Project In The Philippines

This report analyses a commissioning conference interpreting project accomplished by the author in Philippine CALACA 2×150MW CFB Coal-fired Power Plant.Based on Daniel Gile’s Effort Models,this report summarizes different problems and corresponding solutions.The report is divided into five chapters.The basic situation of the project is introduced in Chapter One.The second chapter elaborates on preparations before the project.Under the guidance of the Effort Models,the third chapter illustrates the method of reasonably distributing and managing interpreting efforts from three aspects,namely,listening and analyzing effort,memory effort and production effort.The performance of the interpreting project is evaluated in the fourth chapter of the report from the perspective of the client and the author.The last chapter of the report states the significance and enlightenments for future work.
