| As an important period for young people to grow up,the university stage is very important for the development of College students.This period is the key period for the formation of the world outlook,outlook on life and values.If the college students in the university have a good adaptation,college students will be able to acquire knowledge and skills,improve physical and mental health,and create a favorable social environment for personal development.Therefore,it is particularly important for college students to adapt to school.We believe that the school adaptation refers to the process of university students’ individual learning and life in college,adjust their mentality and behavior,allow oneself to form a kind of harmony with the environment in the dynamic environment,and one can achieve the basic requirements of the school.Previous studies have shown that the level of school adaptation is the result of a comprehensive effect,not only the individual factors of college students,but also the environmental factors.At present,there are many factors to predict the school adaptation,which factors will play a major role,and it is a scientific problem to be solved in practice.In this study,we use the method of machine learning to investigate the influence of many individual and environmental factors on school adaptation at different time points.We choose the college students’ adaptability scale is Chinese under the cultural background of College Students’ Adaptability Scale Based on the research group of the Ministry of education "for college students’ mental health assessment system",based on the above considerations,we selected both individual variables and environmental factors in multiple scales,including: College Students’ Shyness Scale,self-consciousness scale and the loneliness scale,self-esteem scale,simple coping style scale,China college students adjustment scale,Chinese Internet addiction scalenetwork,non-adaptive cognitive questionnaire,social support scale,interpersonal trust scale,tried to cover most of the influence of college students to adapt to the individual and the environment factors.We put the college students’ Adaptability Scale as the dependent variable,while adding students at the end of the semester examination results as a reference to other variables,the scale of related factors as independent variables,University of Shandong,A and B,a total of 750 freshman in two times the tracing test using the method,independent samples t-test,multiple regression and machine learning to analyze data,got the following conclusion:1 college students’ Adaptability Scale is an effective tool to measure college students’ adaptation.We confirmed the scale reliability and validity,the total scale of Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.923,retest reliability was 0.940;the structure validity,adapt to a moderate positive correlation between the scale and each dimension(p<0.01),the correlation coefficient between 0.320-0.622;confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fitting index,the index fitting well,the criterion validity of results shows that the scale is a useful tool for measuring college students’ school adaptation.2 there is a difference between college students,gender and urban and rural areas.In the type of colleges and universities,A university is better than the overall situation of the University B,A college and universities to adapt to the various dimensions are better than B university.Among them,the mean difference between the two is the learning adaptation dimension and the campus life adaptation dimension.In terms of gender,there was a significant difference between male and female in the adaptation scale of campus life(t=2.328,p<0.05).In urban and rural areas,the rural household registration students to learn to adapt to score slightly higher than urban students.3 the correlation analysis showed that the results of the two measurements: the adaptation and shyness,loneliness and Internet addiction,network is negatively correlated with self-concept,cognitive adaptation,active coping style,self-esteem,interpersonal trust,social support had a significant positive correlation.4 through a variety of methods can be found from multiple regression to machinelearning and machine learning ridge regression lasso regression,the purpose of multi-dimension reduction step by step implementation,interpretation of the number of variables reduced in a step by step,easy explanation has been strengthened,the model is more concise;at the same time,continuous model with the error in variables are reduced.5 finally,the key factors of College Students’ adaptation are obtained: shyness,coping style,self-esteem,loneliness,Internet addiction,social support. |
