Learning adaptation refers to the process of individuals' efforts to adjust their psychological and behavioral balance to the learning environment in accordance with the environment and the needs of learning.Previous studies have shown that students' learning adaptation problems can be positively affected by proactive personality,future orientation,and learning engagement,but the path of influence between them has not yet been clarified.Therefore,from the perspective of positive psychology,this study explores the relationship between learning adaptation and proactive personality,as well as the mediating roles of future orientation and learning engagement between learning adaptation and proactive personality.In this study,700 freshmen in Henan province were selected as the research subjects,and proactive personality questionnaires,adolescents' future orientation tables,learning engagement scales,and university students learning adaptation questionnaires were used for empirical research.By studying the characteristics of freshmen's learning adaptation to the status quo and the relationship between freshmen's learning adaptation and proactive personality,future orientation,and learning engagement,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The mean of the freshmen's learning adaptation is higher than the median of the total score,and it is in the middle-upper level,which indicates that the freshmen's learning adaptation is better;the freshmen's learning adaptation level in the gender,profession,and whether the student leaders exists significant differences,among which female students' learning adaptation level is significantly better than boys,liberal arts majors' learning adaptations are significantly better than science majors,and student leaders' adaptation levels are significantly better than non-students' cadres.(2)Freshmen's learning adaptation and proactive personality,future orientation,and learning engagement are positively correlated with each other,and proactive personality can positively predict future orientation,learning engagement,and learning adaptation,and future orientation can significantly positively predict learning engagement,learning engagement can significantly positively predict learning adaptation.(3)Proactive personality can affect learning adaptation through learning engagement,learning engagement has a partial mediation between the learning engagement and proactive personality;and proactive personality can in turn affect the learning adaptation through future orientation and learning engagement,future orientation and learning engagement play a serial mediation role between learning adaptation and proactive personality.
