Research On Narrative Space Of Network Novel

People are closely linked with both narrative and space,to a great degree,the narrative space means our life space.It not only characterized our reality space from different aspects,but also indicates the space in the future.Network space has been one of the most important space of our life,and due to the network,network novel present us a special narrative space.What is the network novel narrative space like and how is it formed,is worth studying.The concept of narrative space is not only belongs to the narrative,it is from narrative to social culture.This dissertation studies the narrative space of network novel not only by narrative theory,but also contacted to social culture.First,this dissertation learns from Seymour Chatman’s analysis of narrative structure,divide the narrative space of network novel into story-space and discourse-space.The story-space consists of the space which expressed by the story content and the place where the whole story happens.The discourse-space is mainly refers to how the narrative space be constructed.Due to the complex of space itself,and the special coexistence relationship between time and space,story-space is analyzed from the angle of time,and be divided into reality space,history space and future space.And the analysis of discourse-space including the language and structure of network novel,and how the network influence the narrative context.Then do some brief analysis of the life space and mental space of the society we lived in,based on the analysis of the network novel narrative space and the social culture.At last,do some thinking of the relationship between our desire to freedom and the network narrative space.
