The Study On Ralationships Of College Students' Prosocial Tendency Behavior, Narcissism And Gratitude

The difference of the growth environment affects the prosocial behavior of each individual,and prosocial behavior is good for all aspects of society as a whole.It can promote people to interact with people,effectively participate in competition and cooperation so that people can have a good resistance to frustration.Prosocial behavior tend to be affected by many factors.Narcissism as a special personality traits,under the influence of gratitude,different degrees of narcissistic individual prosocial behavior tend to change more or less.This paper investigates the characteristics of college students' prosocial behavior,narcissism and gratitude respectively,and explores the interrelationship between them.We intent to have a depth understanding of the law within the three variables,so as to provide some information for future research,and relevant suggestions for college students' values and prosocial behavior.In the study,600 college students in Zhengzhou,Kaifeng and Luoyang were selected as subjects,and the questionnaire of college students prosocial tendencies,narcissistic personality questionnaire and college student gratitude scale were used to carry out the actual investigation and data collection.The relationship between the prosocial behavior of college students and narcissism as well as gratitude.SPSS21.0 statistical analysis data were used in the study.Through this research,the following results are obtained:(1)The prosocial behavior tendency of college students is above the average level.There is no significant difference between the total score and the dimensions of each student in gender,profession,place of origin,and only child.The sub-dimension of the prosocial behavior(anonymousness,openess,altruism,obedience,and urgency)in the grade is not significant,the emotional dimension has significant differences.(2)College students' narcissism is above the average level.The total score and the dimension of lust,superiority,self appreciation has obvious difference on the different majors.(3)College students' gratitude is above the average level.The total score and all the dimensions of gratitude have significant differences in gender.The total score and the dimension of gratitude for parents,gratitude for nature,depriveation of feelings have not significant differences in grade,but the dimension of feeling grateful for society has significant differences in grade.The total score and the dimension of feeling grateful for parents,deprivation of feelings have significant differences in the different majors,but the subdimensions of feeling grateful for society,having gratitude towards nature have no significant differences in the different major.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between college students' narcissism,gratitude and prosocial behavior tendency.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between the total score of the gratitude and the subdimension of gratitude for parents,gratitude for nature,gratitude for society,with the total score of college students prosocial behavior tendency and all the dimension of it.(6)College students' narcissism has a positive predictive function for gratitude.The narcissism and gratitude of college students have a positive predictive function for prosocial behavior tendency.(7)The gratitude of college students plays partial intermediary role between the narcissism and prosocial behavior tendency.
