Research On The Minimalist Features Of Motion Graphic Flat Style

With the rapid development of economy and science and technology,the representation of image has become more and more diversified.In recent years,motion graphic has become popular in designers and animators,in which the flat style is the most common.Flat graphics is not only a unique style but also a style very easy to make.It expresses content and sends text through the movement of images and characters.From the development of flat style in motion graphic,it is not a stiff pattern which never change.In the contrast,the form of flat style will be changed with changing of people's aesthetic taste.Thus,in the wave of minimalism,the flat style had an extremely concise feature.“Less is more” as the core idea of minimalism has met the need of modern aesthetic expressing a hope of living a simple life.As far,the study of the flat style of motion graphic mostly focus on the creation process as well as the moving mode of elements.But,to its minimalism feature,the research is limited.As mentioned above,this thesis has its necessity to the study of minimalism feature of flat style of motion graphic.This thesis systematically sorts out the developing and changing process of motion graphic,trying to find the connections between flat style and minimalism.Then,this thesis will make an analysis on the minimalist spirit represented in some excellent works in different way,integrating the expression form of picture,narration,sound,content and emotion.Finally,this thesis will make a conclusion on the reformation brought by minimalism into the motion graphic and try to find a way for the sustainable development under the combination of this two fields.
