He Derun And The Literary Elegance Of Wuchuan

Wuchuan,the elegant name of Wuyi,attaches to the Wuzhou in the central of Zhejiang province.Wuyi is one of the places where the Zhengjiang academia originated.Although Wuyi is an outlying county,its culture that takes orders of Zhengjiang academic spirit has been colorful and successive since its construction.On the one hand,it thanks to the Lv zuqian in the Southern Song Dynasty,who gave lectures in MingZhao Mountain and attracted lots of literati in Wuyi.The remaining influence is endless.On the other hand,it due to the Wuyi's celebrity in late Qing Dynasty--He Derun,who saw himself as the descendant of Lize academia,promoted the Neo-Confucianism and made a consecutive effort in summing up,saving Wuyi's culture.This article is based on the area of Wuchuan,involving He derun's culture activities--the description of the clime,the record of the upheaval,the advocating of the poem group and the compilation of documentation.On the basis of exploring the background of the times and the mindset of the literati,the dissertation highlights He Derun's practice of the Zhejiang academia,inspects humanities of Wuyi,shows the literature elegance of Wuchuan and then deepens the significance of the traditional literati in conserving culture in the social transformation.In the description of the clime,He Derun's homesickness is no longer satisfied with the self-sufficiency of the mind,or to find the emotions' home.However,his homesickness evolves into self-consciousness to record the scenery and conserve the customs of a place which appears the practical pursuit of Zhejiang academia.Wu Chuan Kou Nan Shi Cao,as a few and well-preserved work,reflects the Taiping Movement in a place.Through the restoration of the specific war in Wuyi,the panorama of the regional turmoil and the small town to see the overall situation,the poetry is the text foundation for the historical analysis and contemporary interpretation of Taiping Movement.He Derun's acts shows the sharp vision of the intellectuals in turmoil,reposes the morality of the scholar's nation and embodies the thought of administering affairs in Zhejiang academia.The Wuchuan poets group whose advocate is He Derun,aims at promoting the level of versifying,endues the poetry gathering with the vitality and ingenuity so as to let those who live in a township make efforts in spreading the culture,promoting academia of a place.He Derun provides a thought about popularity of Zhejiang academia by means of literature compilation,which is dependent on the academia of Jinhua documentary compilation.From the type of literature edited and contents selected,WuChuan Wen Chao and WuChuan Shi Chao are the works with anecdotes and these two books not only show the style of the literature in a place,but also partly play a role in encouraging the morals and manners as well as conforming to the will of the people.Then the sequence of the material arrangement is in order of time;the content layout attaches the texts to the author and the classification method places the common things that are compatible with persons in one category.Compared to the former local chronicles in Wuyi,Wu Chuan Bei Kao is much more plenteous in terms of contents and more pluralistic regard to the source of literature.At the same time,He Derun tends to a different mindset and new stylistic rules in compilation relative to the previous compilers,which embody the ingenuity in compilation and reflect the historiography emphasis of Zhejiang academia in Qing Dynasty,too.He Derun has carried out an effective combing and summarizing cultre of Wuyi,giving cultural memorry and cultural inheritance profound meaning.
