The participants in the experimental group received 8 weeks of online ABC based intervention and 3 offline counseling sessions. The occupational stress questionnaire and· the coping style scale were measured in the experimental group and the control group before and after the intervention respectively. Through the comparison between the experimental group and the control group, and the comparison between the experimental group and the control group before and after the test, the practical effect of the intervention was verified. The results showed that the scores of pretest and posttest in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the pre-test, P, 0.05 in the interpersonal dimension, the pressure of work itself and the coping style. In the dimension of career development and security, the dimensions of career evaluation, organizational management and life status are not significantly different. To sum up, the use of online and offline combination of rational emotive behavior therapy has a certain effect on the stress management intervention of front-line fire fighters, especially in interpersonal relationships and coping styles.
