In recent years,there is a growing number of Korean students coming to China to learn Chinese for further study.However, in the process of learning, a lot of students pronounce Chinese with its own the "Korean flavor" under the influence of their mother tongue. Therefore,this thesis focuses on the study of the Korean students' Chinese vowels acquisition.This thesis mainly adopts the research of experimental phonetics ,utilizing the recording software "Cool Editor Pro" and the phonetics software" Mini Speech Lab" in order to analyze the Korean students' Chinese vowels pronunciation and construct the vowel chart pattern. The author tries to observe the native language transfer in the Chinese language acquisition process of the Korean students. Using the method of experimental phonetics in Chinese and comparative analysis,the author concentrates the acoustic analysis from two angles, one is from the different Chinese levels of learning groups and the other is from the gender perspective. Finally, on the basis of experimentation , the thesis raises teaching suggestions and countermeasures for teaching to Korean students.
