This article belongs to research of Japanese Sinology study, takes Japanese study of Guo Moruo's "The Goddesses" as the object, mainly to sort out and explore the history and the interpretation of Japanese research of Guo Moruo's "The Goddesses",And grasp the characteristics and deficiencies by analyzing viewpoints of Japanese research. Then taps Japanese study on " The Goddesses " has important reference and enlightenment for Chinese literature study.This article firstly conducts a longitudinal sort of information, divides the history of Japan's study of Guo Moruo's " The Goddesses" into three periods,1950-1970s,1990s and since 2000. On this basis, the paper discusses how the Japanese representation Suzuki Yoshiaki, Wu Jiping, Iwasa masaaki, Fujita Rina and Yokouchi Rina interpreted Guo Moruo's " The Goddesses" .That is,analyze the research of Suzuki Yoshiaki who as the representative of "The Goddesses"'s influence study, empirical research and holistic approach of Wu Jiping, key word " Japan " of Iwasa masaaki's study, one of the important concepts " cross-cultural written " of Fujita Rina's research,the center of the word "trandition " and " nature " of Yokouchi Rina's research.Finally, the paper cares about the angle of view of Japanese study on "The Goddesses " , and finds out the reference and enlightenment for Chinese literature study by discussing the deficiencies: the emphasis and hotspot in Japanese study of Guo Moruo's "The Goddesses " includes three aspects that digging and studying historical materials in new literature during " The Goddesses" 's period,the influence study aimed at how the Eastern and Western cultures and literatures were absorbed in " The Goddesses " , and case study of texts. The researchers stick to empirical research as the basic method of " The Goddesses" 's study, get deep into the texts and gratifying results have been achieved. But it cannot be denied that there were disadvantages existed which included the speed of development was slow, had some academic scotomata, the viewpoints were shallow and the methods were relatively less. As a extraterritorial mirror,Japanese study of Guo Moruo's "The Goddesses " not only can urge domestic literary study circle to find out defects and fill up a vacancy,adjust the step of study,and make up the quantity and quality. But also the method of empirical research and texts close reading can give inspiration to domestic literary researches how to save themself from the dilemma which included heuristic method and panlogistic research.
