Loving and filial culture is not only a basic paradigm to solve the value disorder and moral anomie in the society and promote the family harmony,social stability and national long period of stability,but also an important soft power of culture in building a socialist cultural power and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As a kind of moral soft constraint,it relies on moral norms to influence and guide the individual's concept and behavior.Compared with the hard constraints such as laws and regulations,the soft constraint of loving and filial culture has a profound influence on people's ideas and behaviors.Having been evolving for quite a long time,the loving and filial culture plays an important role in promoting family harmony and strengthening social management in Chinese history.In modern times,due to lack of innovation and failure to keep pace with the times,the loving and filial culture has been impacted,and the fracture has even occurred.In today's world,the inheritance of Chinese culture,construction of harmonious families,enhancement of the soft power of the national culture and promotion of the modernization of national governance all need the loving and filial culture.In this regard,it is imperative to implement the construction of loving and filial culture.Chongqing has carried out a series of beneficial exploration and practice on the construction of loving and filial culture,which not only has its own characteristics,but also has much experience which is worth popularizing in the whole country.However,due to various factors,Chongqing still faces many difficulties in the process of construction of loving and filial culture.In order to further clarify and solve the problem and provide valuable reference for other areas,this paper carries out a systematic study on the practice of the construction of loving and filial culture in Chongqing.The structure is as follows.In the introduction part,this paper studies the feasibility for the construction of the loving and filial culture in Chongqing.The research background and significance,the research status at home and abroad,the research ideas and methods,as well as the possible innovations and inadequacies of this paper are described in this part.The first part focuses on the necessity of constructing the loving and filial culture.It systematically analyzes the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of loving and filial culture and discusses the contemporary value of the loving and filial culture construction from a host of dimensions including the coordination of intergenerational relations,construction of harmonious social relations and enhancement of national cohesion,etc..The second and the third part respectively make the empirical loving children”,constructing harmonious neighborhood and interpersonal relationship,involving government and other social subjects as well as simultaneous focus on material and spiritual construction
