According to the functional equivalence theory of Eugene Neda, the adverbial clause of time in Eco-business will be analyzed with qualitative and quantitative methods. The conjunctions involved include when, before, after, while, until, since and so on.There are 24 adverbial clauses of time which are lead by "when" in this translated text, accounting for about 60%of the total adverbial clause of time. Therefore, the corresponding translation techniques will be analyzed in this report. At the same time, other adverbial clauses of time will also be analyzed and compared in this paper. This report is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the task description; The second chapter is translation process; The third chapter is the most important part.Firstly,it presents the classification of the adverbial clause of time, and the corresponding translation techniques. In the following subsections, the five types of translation methods are used flexibly according to the classification of the adverbial clause of time. After summarizing the translation methods of adverbial clause of time, the author makes the following conclusions:(1)When translating adverbial clause of time, linear translation, recasting translation, conversion, division and omission should be applied flexibly instead of only focusing on one or some of the translation methods.Translators should always consider the specific context and the logic and expression of Chinese language,so as to make the translation more accurate, full, coherent, natural, and in line with Chinese people's thinking logic.(2)When the adverbial clauses of time are lead by the same conjunction, they might be implied with deep meaning in addition to time due to different contexts, including concessions, conditions and so on.
