| Listening,among the four foundation Chinese language courses,has been the most challenging one for many TCFL Teachers to teach.Students’ low interest rate,inactive classroom engagement,poor attendance,and the consequent poor quality of teaching are all problems that need to be solved.Therefore,in this paper,the correlation between classroom atmosphere and interactive activities conducted is explored via real class observation and an experienced teacher is selected for observation purpose.In order to provide instructive advices to TCFL teachers,this paper analysis successful classroom interaction cases and summarizes effective teaching interactive methods and awareness.Pre-questionnaires were given to students of the International Exchange College of SISU prior the study,thus problems of listening course can be seen.According to the conclusion drawn from the pre-study,an excellent TCFL teacher is selected for classroom observation purpose,which enables real case analysis.The observation is conducted before listening,during listening and after listening with the basis of interaction hypothesis,"input and output","schema theory" and learning motive.Times of interaction,ways of interaction,feedback of interaction and method of interaction are analyzed respectively.Based on the analysis,semi-structured interview is conducted with each object to further learn the interaction consciousness behind classroom interaction behavior.Therefore,instructive advice on how to improve students’ interest in listening and how to improve teaching method and quality are given in this paper.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,including the origin,summary,content,significance,method,design and theory foundation of the research.Chapter two analyzes the current situation of the teacher-student classroom interaction based on the pre-questionnaire object and certain objects for further study are chosen in this stage.The third chapter analyzes each classroom interaction case based on the interactive behavior of classroom teaching,including the instructions and feedbacks given by teacher,the feedbacks from students and classroom activities.In the fourth chapter,the author probes into the teachers’ interactive consciousness by interviewing the teacher based on the observed cases and puts forward some reasonable and effective teaching suggestions.Chapter 5 summarizes the conclusions and shortcomings of this paper. |
