The Relationship Between Loneliness And College Students' Smartphone Addiction: Influence Model And Intervention Study

This research selected college students as subjects to conduct two studies.Study one employed?Smartphone Addiction Scales For College Students???Internal-State Awareness Subscales???Interpersonal Relationship Comprehensive Diagnostic Scales???Loneliness Scale?as study instruments,800 graduate students were randomly chosen as participants.The aim of study one is to investigate the current situations of loneliness ,Internal-state awareness ,interpersonal relationship,smartphone addiction of college students,to explore the underlying mechanism of loneliness leads to smartphone addiction,to provide theoretical basis of intervention of college students' smartphone addiction.Study two employed case intervention as study method,based on study one,and investigate whether the individual psychological counseling have a significant effect on college students' smartphone addiction.Results show that the college students' smartphone addiction is optimistic ,the individual psychological counseling on college students' smartphone addiction intervention has a significant effect,the specific conclusions are as follows:(1) college students' smartphone addiction has not reached the level of addiction.(2) college students' smartphone function commonly used in the top three were:social software (WeChat, QQ, micro-blog, Post Bar etc.), online listening to music,watching videos (including download), search engine, web browsing (non news).(3)college students' smartphone addiction have significant differences in gender,family location,grade,professional;intemal state awareness have significant differences in gender;interpersonal relationship have significant differences in gender,grade and professional.(4) interpersonal relationship plays an mediate role between loneliness and college students' smartphone addiction.(5) internal state awareness can moderate the influence of interpersonal relationship on college students' smartphone addiction.(6) the case intervention based on interpersonal relationship and internal state awareness for college students' smartphone addiction is effective.
