Art Concept And The Creation Of Chinese Painting

In the long history of Chinese fine art,the art works are the reflections of those art concepts of the different periods,which in turn are represented through the fine art works.An art concept,a complex affected by a variety of factors,is the external materialization of the artists' knowledge of the things and his inner sentiments.In the formation of an artist's art concepts,the artist's educational background,living environment,aesthetic ability,life values,materials and skills,etc.all play a role.The art concepts,which determines the representational forms of the art works,are the basis for the art creation.The paintings are the external materializations of the artists' art concepts in that the artists,through the creation of painting,transform their understandings of life into specific linguistic symbols,which are further expressed through their art concepts,and thus build a connection with their viewers and readers and enable them,from the paintings,to form an intense feeling of the intense emotional expression of the artists.This paper gives an elaboration on the art concept and its two factors.Following that,it,on a basis of the relations between art concepts and the creation of Chinese paintings,analyses the author's own art ideologies and art creation.It concludes with a brief summary of the author's own art.
