Research On The Errors Of Chinese's Nominal Classifier By Thai Students

Chinese's and Thai's measure word are abundant.Research on Chinese's and Thai's measure word is quite rare,so is the Chinese's and Thai's nominal classifier.Through data collection and questionnaire survey,we founded that the meaning and usage of Chinese's and Thai's nominal classifier are different.Moreover,the nominal classifier is also one of the great problems for Thai students.Hence,the research on Thai students who studying Chinese apply nominal classifier wrongly is quite important.In this paper,the questionnaire is used as the corpus,and it was designed by adopting the new HSK 1-6 level vocabulary and combined with the HSK dynamic composition corpus to analyze the situation of Thai examinee using Chinese's nominal classifier.As a result of study,we found that there is 8 types of errors that Thai students using Chinese's nominal classifier.On the basis of 8 types of these errors,this paper proposed teaching strategies of Chinese's and Thai's nominal classifier.
