The famous poet Guang Weiran (1913-2002) created a large number of poetry throughout his life. For a variety of reasons, these poems have been either modified or abandoned by the poet himself in the process of creation, publication or selection. The process of revision and abandonment matters a lot in considerable researches because it can reflect not only the poet's life experience but also the transformation of both the identity and the literary ideas of the creators.This paper chooses to use the selection and modification of his works as the research object, in order to explore its universal significance of literary history through this micro literature vision. The paper uses the poet's poems as the basic research documents to reproduce the historical transition of its work' s creation and dissemination in light of partial changes and full text' stransition.Besides the parts of introduction and conclusion, this paper is composed of three chapters. The Introduction part analyzes the origin and significance of this topic, presents the current research situation, and further comes up with the overall research idea,perspective and research methods.The first analyzes the two common reasons why the poet modified his works,further exploring his complex personal background during that time.The second chapter, based on 'May Flower' (1960) and 'Zhang Guangnian Collection' (2002), as well as other poems which had never been included in his collection of poems, addresses the how the poet chose, selected, and deleted his works during the time from 1930 to 1950. In addition to this, this chapter further explores the conflicts and pain.The third chapter, through the study of the creation and communication history of the Yellow River Cantata, is designed to consider the classic meaning of the text of the Yellow River Cantata.The conclusion part explores the poet's internal complex mental state manifested by his perseverance and oscillation, choose and conference in the light of the analysis and research of the transition of his works. In this way, this paper further reflects on modern writer' s common situation under different background of time, and how we should look at the special literature phenomenon in Chinese modern and contemporary literature.
