Chinese Teaching Study And Analysis In Two Universities Of Almaty

Kazakhstan had built up good foreign relationship with China, there are many foreign learners of Chinese. Almaty is the only way lead to the Central Asia's 'Silk Road',it has been the center of the Chinese language teaching as well. The research of current situation of teaching Chinese in Almaty has reference for other areas in this country. We have taught Chinese to Kazakhstan students in two college of Almaty for 2 months. We searched literature and used questioners and interviews to investigate and analyze the current situation of teaching Chinese.The teaching situation of Chinese as professional courses at Kazakhstan professional Foreign Language University is introduced in Chapter 2. We analyze it from the aspects of history of Chinese learning environment, teachers' level, choice of textbooks and the arrangement of teaching periods.The third chapter analyzes the teaching situation of Chinese as elective courses in Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training University. There are difference in teachers'level, choice of textbooks and the arrangement of teaching periods. There are so many Chinese learners, but schedule is not reasonable, the use of the textbook can't meet the needs of students learning Chinese.As to the present situation of Chinese teaching, the fourth chapter makes three suggestions, namely, improvement of teaching methods and teaching equipment, the cultivation of the faculty. The choice of textbook can't meet the needs of students, the teachers level remains to be further improved.The fifth chapter concluded the paper.
