Humor is one of the best ways to gain a deep understanding of Yue Minjun's art, as it reflects a culture's ideals and anxieties, its taboos and its obsessions--but often in ways only understandable to those well versed in the culture. "Idol" art prominent sense of humor is used as an understanding of Yue Minjun artistic creation of the "entry point",Yue Minjun's" new idol "creation to give the cultural form of deep-rooted, but such cultural and artistic language from economic progress, technological change And the growing cultural exchange of the era of new development, but also on the consumer era of such a large trend of cultural power and ridicule. It is well known that humour is extremely difficult to appreciate , especially when one of the cultures (Chinese) is so rich in linguistic puns and socio-political contexts. The humor of art is more difficult to explain.contemporary Chinese art has become a dynamic and hugely influential force in a globalized art world where the distinctions between Eastern and Western culture are rapidly collapsing. contemporary Chinese art both in the context of China's specific historical experiences and in a global arena. The aggressively smiling faces of the noted Chinese Cynical Realist, Yue Minjun, are instantly recognizable to anyone even remotely interested in the burgeoning contemporary Chinese art scene--his work has set astronomical records at Sotheby's and Christies since it was first introduced, painter's works are instantly recognizable by the artist's trademark laughing figures. The idiotic laughing figures always have more teeth than one could possibly want, like empty fashion models advertising the latest whitening toothpaste. Yue transforms himself into an icon for the spiritual emptiness of the contemporary world: While Yue's trademark smile appears superficial, mindless and even ridiculous, it is also deeply revealing and compelling, combining basic elements of propaganda posters from the Cultural Revolution with those of modern advertising. In the first part of the article, I have made the relevant finishing and research on the great background of Yue Minjun's "New Idol"art creation and the artistic influence of economic development. Starting from the reform and opening up, the author discusses the origin and main features of the consumption era,And this era of Yue Minjun on the creation of the choice. In the second part, explains the great role of idols in real life and the related cultural trends, through a series of arguments to explain the era of consumption to idols as a means to profit for the ultimate purpose of the reality, this situation and Yue Minjun's creation has been closely linked, analyzing how Yue Minjun created the "new idol", as well as the cognition of business,The third part of the article through the Yue Minjun later works of the specific analysis of Yue Minjun "new idol" works on the meaning of the public and the digestion of this consumer culture. The fourth chapter is the reflection of artistic creation. The writing of this paper involves some theories of economics and sociology, as well as cultural markets, including what is the consumption era, the aesthetic trend of the consumer age, the generation of idols and the role and status of the consumer era, idol, brand and business, The relationship between art and the market. Because of my lack of knowledge in this area, the process of writing will inevitably have many aspects of less than or lack of some relevant theoretical knowledge of the reserves, but also welcome to explore, and criticism.
