We live in a visual society, with the eyes to capture information is a way we know and understand things. With the economic and social development of science and technology, background information era of diversification, graphic design plays an increasingly important role in our life, the progress of science and technology and interdisciplinary perspective makes art showing a more likely, after the design of graphics is a more rational and intuitive way to the viewer to convey a specific message, ideas and concepts, the visual form is simple and clear,is that certain. This paper is based on the study of the graphic design of chemical molecular structure, and tries to find more new possibilities in graphic design through interdisciplinary fields.First of all,the basic concept of graphic design of point, line and area three graphic design elements and formal beauty rule knowledge combing with the research of the system;then the basic knowledge related to chemistry were reviewed and understood through observation and analysis of element symbols, structure type, electronic type arrangement, from. The extraction of Representative "point" and "line" elements of the design, the use of formal beauty rule and graphic design technique, the line repetition, crossover, rotation, and formed irregular region, path and trajectory.Make full use of the characteristics of the chemical "change" in the design of the graph, and make a series of experiments. At the end of this paper, the shape of the point line is studied, and the motion of the point line, the form of change and the visual extension are discussed. It is hoped that through the study of the graphic design from the perspective of interdisciplinary, people will be more interested in the interdisciplinary and pay attention to the integration of knowledge.
