Study On The Pools Afar · Da Ya · The Book Of Songs

Pools Afar is the seventeenth article of Da Ya · The Book of Songs.It consists of three chapters,five sentences of each chapter.Scholars have disagreements on the topic of the poems.Therefore,the paper tries to analyse the classification and discrimination of the poem topic,and conclude the different analyses about rhetorical devices like “Bi” and “Xing” in “Pools Afar”,explain the key words and then accomplish this study.After reading and combing in nearly 200 copies of the documents from Japan and South Korea on the basis of The Book of Songs,this paper will discuss the topic from three parts according to the relevant academic achievement in recent years.The first part is about the basic issues involved in creator and creation time.According to literature,the creator can be concluded into "Zhao Gong",“Gong Liu”and "Slave Singer ".As the creation era is no confirmed,summarizing the scholars' views,it can be concluded that this article is not the early Shi works,and should be the works between the medium-term of Zhou dynasty and the medium and later term of Zhou dynasty.It also discusses the interpretation of the title and the relationship between the related titles.The second part is about the different cognitions on rhetorical devices“Bi” and “Xing” in “Pools Afar” from scholars in history.It is summed up into three levels such as “admonishment” “instruction ” and “praise”according to the meaning,with detailing and classifying in each level.As to the topic and studies which can not be classified into the three levels,the paper discusses them in other parts.In addition,comparing the different cognitions on rhetorical devices “Bi” and “Xing” in “Pools Afar” from scholars,the paper tries to analyse the influence on the topic comprehension on account of cognition differences.The third part is the textual criticism of key words and semantic comprehension-impaired key words such as "farming","fen Chi","Zhuo Gai" "rich plaster",particularly for word "Qi Di",in order to help to deepen the understanding of the aims of poetry.The study of Pools Afar is trying to comb and conclude the scholar's research opinions.Through combining the historical and recent researches,people can make out the music culture,relationship between the monarch and the people,and relationship between the nature and the man.Meanwhile,scholars find out virtue was concerned at large in Zhou dynasty and people's views on politics and philosophy were mature,which can be used for reference by later generations.
