The culture of the Tang Dynasty has some features such as diversification and open.But its mainstream ideology is still Confucian ritual ethics.The culture of Tang Dynasty also influences Woman's Social status and life,They enjoy more rights in politics,social interaction,education and marital autonomy than women in other periods.However,the real situation of female life in the Tang Dynasty is still the traditional concept of "male superiority to female" as the core idea," Three Obedience and Four Virtues" as the fundamental content of the traditional society."Female Filial Piety" and "The analects on women" which wrote in the middle of the Tang Dynasty elaborated the etiquette and legal norms of the female teaching thought,they require women should be self-cultivation ceremony,honor elders,learning woman's work when she is daughter.She should abide by,serve in her in-laws,management housework when she is wife.As a mother to bear the responsibility of raising children.From the female teaching material like "female filial piety" and "The analects on women",educate women to consciously incorporate the norms of rites into their daily life and finally become in line with the Confucian ethical concept of female image.The relationship between the thought of women in the Tang Dynasty and the traditional ritual of Confucianism are from the same strain,the Confucian tradition of ritual ideas have been deeply affect in the intercourse between men and women,chastity and other aspects.After An-shi Rebellion which was happened in the middle and late Tang Dynasty,in order to maintain the rule,the dominator began to vigorously advocate Confucianism,hoping to restore the status of Confucianism,to maintain a strict hierarchy of dignity,the concept of " men are superior to women" is beginning to strengthen,the concept of chastity continued to strengthen in the late Tang Dynasty,but the concept was weak in the early Tang Dynasty.Not only the concept of change,the self control of women is also gradually increased.Women in the subtle change to an ideal female image in line with the traditional patriarchal society expected.Although the traditional Confucian rituals limit the power of women,but kindly mother,filial daughter,a virtuous wife's family core values or to give the contemporary female new in the transmission of "female filial piety" culture,the responsibility to children and strengthen self-cultivation and so on with some inspiration.We should abandon the idea of dross on the basis of absorbing its useful ingredients.
