In recent years,our country continuously expand enrollment scale in order to cultivate high quality social builders,which causes the growing increase in the number of College graduates and makes employment situation severe.At the same time,the country attaches great importance to the cultivation of higher vocational students' skills,and increases the enrollment scale of higher vocational college students.Although the employment rate of higher vocational college students is higher than that of undergraduates,further research is needed to study the quality of employment,job stability,and the match between staff and positions and so on.Under the great social background of the employment pressure,how to make the right career decision and improve the quality of the employment of the higher vocational college students is the urgent affairs of the Colleges.At present,college students' career decision-making ability training is not perfect,most of which is the theory and lacks specific examples and operations.Secondly,college students' career decision-making ability training is less to train the comprehensive ability of the students' career decision-making of the profession in term of major,character ability and so on.This paper discusses how to cultivate the ability of career decision from the angle of psychology.The research studies the relationship among three stable traits: avoidance delay,emotional intelligence,Career decision-making self-efficacy.This paper will establish the theoretical basis for the cultivation and promotion of vocational decision-making ability based on the characteristics of vocational college students and provide an effective basis for vocational guidance in higher vocational colleges from an innovative psychological perspective further.Firstly,based on the theoretical researches,this paper puts forward the hypothesis of relationship among the variables and the differences of demographic variables in the research variables.The questionnaire was made to investigate the students in higher vocational colleges though the random distribution.We collect data and statistical analysis.After research,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Higher vocational college students' avoidance delay were no significant differences in the demographic variables such as gender,whether only child,specialty,grade and urban selection,which showed that higher vocational college students' avoidance delay is universal;(2)Higher vocational college students' emotional intelligence were significant differences in gender,specialty,grade,and employment city,and there was no significant difference in whether there was a single child or not;(3)Higher vocational college students' career decision-making self-efficacy were significant differences in gender,whether only child,grade,employment city,and there was no significant difference in profession.(4)Higher vocational college students' avoidance delay was negatively related to career decision-making self-efficacy.And through regression analysis found that avoidance delay can negatively predict occupation self-efficacy;(5)Higher vocational college students' avoidance delay was negatively related to emotional intelligence,further regression analysis found that avoidance delay can negatively predict occupation self-efficacy;(6)Emotional intelligence was positively related to and career decision-making self-efficacy for higher vocational students,emotional intelligence positively predicted students self-efficacy;(7)Emotional intelligence plays a partial mediating role in the process of the influence of avoidance delay on career decision-making self-efficacy.
