We are living in the information age,food enterprises in the process of brand promotion,need to pass a large number of professional brand information and data to the consumer,but due to the pace of life and the acceleration of the time and energy constraints,most consumers are difficult to the received information were fully understood,through art and pattern of the infographics design,complex food brand information through creative graphics and text form vividly show can make consumers rapid analysis and process information about brands,enhance brand awareness,establish a good brand image of the effective means.At the same time,in recent years a succession of accidents of food safety and food false advertising serious harm to the rights and interests of consumers,the food brand promotion resistance increases gradually,the chart information is true and transparent communication food information,help to enhance food brand trust degree,so that the brand can be in the fierce competition in the market come to the fore.In this paper,the food brand promotion of information graphic design research,through the six chapters explore the information icon design in the field of food brand promotion of the specific application methods.First of all this paper from the three aspects of concept,history and application trend of complete overview of information chart,emphatically summarizes the characteristics and advantages of the traditional chart information relative to the brand promotion way have,through a large number of case analysis,sort out the forms of information graphics in food brand promotion in China;secondly,from two the angle and current demand of consumer psychology food brand promotion,find out the existing problems in the process of the promotion of food brands and the lack of basis for these problems to explore the commercial value of information graphics in food brand promotion in the field;and finally to "design practice Quartet" vegetable oil brand information chart for the specific design case,summed up the design principles the design method of information flow chart,to follow in food in brand promotion and application in different media,and Combined with the practice of the contents of the summary and outlook.Specific studies show that the information graphic design is the ideal carrier for food branding as a new marketing tool,and also is the trend in the information age.This article aims to explore information graphic design as a food emerging form of branding,the business value,the application of the principles and application of methods,is a research for chart design applications.This article concluded that information graphic has these abilities of building brand image,increasing the propagation,enhancing brand loyalty.Information graphic meet the requirements of food branding,but also is a powerful tool for food branding.Information chart design is an important part of the information revolution,and it is very necessary for food companies to do brand promotion by big data and visual design.
