The Study On Cultivating The Value Of Friendliness In Modern China

Friendliness is an important part in the core values,as well as an important concept intraditional virtues.In 2001,solidarity and friendliness has been firstly subsumed into“Implement Compendium of Citizen Construction” as one of the basic moral regulation for every citizen,and the study of the value of friendliness gradually increased henceforth.Then in 2012,the eighteenth congress proposed friendliness as one of the core values.Since then,the value of friendliness has been advocated and got wide attention.Nowadays economy development is in an important transition,at the same time,phenomena of moral indifference take place frequently in interpersonal communication.Both our government and citizen should make the quality of friendliness both in our minds and in practice.This article takes the knowledge from recent study about the value of friendliness.This article tries to explore the internal origin of friendliness both in and out of China at first,then explores the connotation of the value of friendliness,after these,analyzes the reasons and expression of the deficiency of friendliness value,finally comes the methods to cultivate.Friendliness is Chinese traditional virtue.Benevolence of Confucian,charity and selflessness of Taoism,universal love of Mohism,and making good behavior as much as possible of Chinese buddhism contains the thoughts of friendliness.Similarly,Platonist,Aristotelianism,Epicureans and Christianism also has the thought of friendliness.The value of friendliness should contains a triple meaning,which being nice to others should be the core part,being nice to ourselves is the basic part,and being nice to nature is the expand part.At present,the deficiency of friendliness mainly assumes in four parts,that lack of empathy,deny moral obligation,and short of moral courage.The reasons are mainly in four ways,that economic factors invades emotional territory,unequal resource allocation,system is not perfect,and indifference of traditional virtues.This article analyzes psychological factors of the deficiency of friendliness and conceive the methods of cultivation to its causes.We should both strengthen education and improve the regulatory system,as well as strengthen the construction to provide a proper environment for friendliness.
