Attention bias which is one of the core characteristics of substance addiction,is an important cause of relapse for drug addiction. At home and abroad, the study on addicts found that drug addicts have attention bias on drug-related clues. Most of the studies have used dot detection, visual search paradigm and spatial cue paradigm to explore the spatial attention bias and examine the effects of exogenous cues or peripheral cues on the bias of addicts;but attention bias in the time dimension(attention blink)research is still relatively small. In addition, most studies have studied addicts but have few research on individuals who have quit addiction.Attention bias studies of addictive abusers based on time characteristics can provide a basis for cognitive training based on cognitive training for addicts to reduce the risk of relapse.Based on this, the rapid sequence visual presentation(RSVP)paradigm was used to study the attention blink of female addicts with two experiments.Experiment 1 examines the effects of drug and neutral T2 on the attention of the abstinent drug users and control subjects, and also examines whether the T2 type will interfere with T1 recognition. The experimental design of 2(T2 type: neutral, drug)× 4(lag: 2,3,4,7)× 2(group: abstinent drug users, control group)was adopted. It was found that, compared with the neutral target, the abstinent drug users group was less than that of the control group when the second target stimulus(T2)was a drug-related clue and the results showed that the addict was still aware of the drug challenge. In addition, the correct recognition of T2 does not interfere with the recognition of T1,but the correct rate of T1 recognition is lower than that of the control group, indicating that excessive drug use may impair the general attention of the individual.Experiment 2 studies the effects of drugs and neutral T1 on addiction abusers and controls in subjects. The experimental design of 2(T1 type:neutral, drug)× 4(lag: 2,3,4,7)× 2(group: abstinent drug users, control group)experiment was made.It was found that there was no significant difference in the correct recognition rate of T2 between durg information and neutral information, and did not show significant attention blink. Two experimental studies have shown that though having given up dependence on substances, addicts still show attention bias on the drug-related stimulus, which may be the reason for relapse of the abusers. This also suggests that in the future, the training of attention bias can be used as a potential way to enhance the effectiveness of giving up addiction.
