The spread and addiction of all kinds of drugs have long been a global social problem. In addition, although substance addicts have an approach bias towards drug-related cues, the number of studies on the characteristics of the approach bias is extremely limited. For addicts, their drug-related cue responses and related cognitive processing still need to be further discussed and explored.Approach bias refers to the approach behavioral response of addicts to addiction-related clues is faster than that of avoidance behavioral response. The appearance of this bias reflects the behavioral response bias in the late stage of cognitive processing. This study was carried out in a compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation center in Wuhan.By measuring and intervening the tendency of drug addicts to drug-related clues,This study explored the attention mechanism in drug addiction. And whether the intervention can effectively decrease the addicts'psychological craving for drugs. This study consists of two experiments.Experiment one verifies whether drug addicts have approach bias to drug-related cues, and adopts the single-factor between subject design. The independent variable was the score of addiction and craving test in the drug rehabilitation center, and the dependent variable was the score of approach bias.In the experiment,SRC experimental paradigm was used to measure the subjects'approaching and approaching scores(D).In experiment 2,SRC paradigm was used as an intervention for drug addicts, which was called" approach bias correction training".The independent variable was whether to accept the correction training. In addition to the experimental group(receiving the approach bias correction training)and the blank group(without any operation),a pseudo-training group(SRC measurement with the same number of times as the experimental group)was also set up.In experiment 1,We found that the avoidance scores of drug-related images were all positive in the three groups, and the approaches of medium group and high group were lower than those of low group.Experiment 2 found:approaching the scores of three groups of participants in the training before are all positive, said there were for reaching toward drug clues, after training, approaching the scores of three groups of subjects were negative, which are showed to drug leads to avoid bias,at the same time, the subjective desire of drug of three groups of participants were significantly reduced. That is,although the approach bias of the experimental group disappeared, the approach bias of the blank group and the pseudo-training group also disappeared. Therefore,it could not be explained that the change of the approach bias of the experimental group was caused by the approach bias correction training. In the first experiment of this study,it was found that drug addicts tended to prefer drug-related pictures, which supported the research hypothesis.Although it was also found in experiment 2 that the approach bias of the experimental group disappeared after the approach bias training, since the blank group and the pseudo-training group also showed similar tendencies, this study could not prove the causal relationship between the disappearance of the approach bias of the experimental group and the approach bias correction training.
