With the sustainable development ofglobalization and information technology,connections between occupational education and society witness the universal and direct transformation.Not only is the humanistic goal of vocational college English teaching to cultivate the cross-cultural communicative competence,but also possibly it is the inevitable trend of curriculum reform.According to the author 's investigation,under the background of the traditional teaching mode of Chinese Mainland,the actual problems including low level of interest in learning English amonghigher vocational students,unsatisfied effect on acquisition,and the lack of multi-communicative ability,can not be ignored.It is how to awaken English learning interest and optimize linked acquisition effects,that has become a heated discussion relating classroom study.Task-based teaching,which considers communication and application to be the central tents as well as stimulus,has expressed the value transformation from scientific rationalism to humanistic progressiveness,and also conformed the overall trend of vocational English teaching reform.The limited results of domestic researches,indicates that the task-based teaching and vocational English classroom study,is worthy of further ponder.With the fundamental theories of second-language acquisition,constructivism and evolving instruction,the effect of task-based teaching on the subject's English learning interestand its acquisition was explored by the author,through itsintroduction to vocational English classroom.A comparative experiment of one period was carried out in two highly similar parallel classes in a vocational school of J Province;the questionnaire of interest level,the standardized test and the individual interview,along with classroom observation,was ruled to be the research tool.The experimental results can be presented as follows:on one hand,compared with the traditional teaching mode,interest in English learning can be cultivated significantly,due to the positive effect of task-based teaching;the level of situationinterest is the largest,followed by the individual interest;it sees the changing trend from “sleeping” to “growing”.On the another,task-based teaching has a obvious active function on optimizing the acquisitionof English learning;specifically,reading comprehension ability is the most evident,and there seems to be a steady increase in listening consciousness along with writing level;the overall mean converts from "passed" to "middle" and "good".The deep-water area of classroom reform was boldly broken through by the author.As a result,through the experiment in person,with the core of innovative teaching content,the countermeasures and suggestions to cultivate the interest in English learning and optimize the academic achievements was summarized;the constructionof Creative Design Concept was to be conceived;in the end,some useful reference to the future similar classroom research was provided.
