A Practice Report On The Chinese Translation Of "???? 2.02.05-87 Building Standards And Regulations"

With the implementation of the strategy of �The Belt and Road� in C hina,SinoRussian relations continue to strengthen,cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure and other fields has been deepening.In this context,various types of projects continue to increase.However,there are many differences in the building standards and regulations between the two countries.To ensure the progress and quality of construction works,the translation requirements for such documents also increased.The report bases on the project �???? 2.02.05-87 Building standards and regulations�,using the Skopos theory as a guide,starting from function and purpose of the project,analyze and summarize the various steps of translation,including translation preparation and analysis,and proofreading processes,finally picking out the typical cases,use the translation techniques,such as conversion of word classes,the addition and the omission,adjustment of word order,etc.Summarize and analyze the misinterpretation in the process of translation and proofreading.Finally author summarizes the problems and shortcomings of the project,sum up the experience and provide reference for translations of such documents.
