The Research Of Adverbial "One+Classifier+Classifier"(???) In Modern Chinese

This paper takes the adverbial�One+Classifier+Classifier�(???)as a research object.Basing on theories of syntax,semantics and cognition,it analyzes the conditions of�One+Classifier+Classifier�in the adverbial position comprehensively and meticulously by using the combination of dynamic and static methods.The main body of the paper analyzes the type of classifier,verb structure and semantics of this form.We support the idea that the basic meaning of the adverbial�One+Classifiernoun+Classifiernoun�is the superposition or reproduction of the same object in the amount of space.We support that the adverbial�One+Classifiernoun+Classifiernoun�basically refers to a same object varies in superposition or reproduction according to the amount of space and can be mainly further interpreted into three kinds of variants meaning in different contexts,which are the meaning of�calculation�,the meaning of�objective situation�and the meaning of"subjective modal".Its main function is to indicate situations,which includes the meanings of�respectively�,�individually�,�continuously�,�successively�,�gradually�and�existence�.While the adverbial�One+Classifierverb+Classifierverb�basically means the superposition or reproduction of a same movement or event in the amount and also shares three identical kinds of semantic variants meanings with the adverbial�One+Classifiernoun+Classifiernoun�.The situation part has the meanings of�continuously�,�slowly�,�gradually�and�accumulation�.The adverbial�One+Classifier+Classifier�shows the meaning of�meticulously�when it indicates�subjective modal�.In chapter 4,this paper compares the similarities and differences in semantic between this two forms.Finally,this paper also adopts cognitive linguistics scanning schema and the image schema to explain the cognitive models of their basic semantics and variants meanings in detail and summarizes the viewpoints that discussed.
