A Research Of The Red Army's Activities In The Soviet Area Of Eastern Guizhou

Eastern Guizhou is a typical ethnic minority area with more than twenty ethnic minorities live in there.In May1934,the Red Army moved thousands of miles into the eastern of Guizhou province to open their bases area;such as Tujia,Miao,Dong and others.After the Red Army entered the eastern of Guizhou,the Red Army is based on the complex natural environment,starting from the actual needs of their own,regard the people of various nationalities in Eastern Guizhou as the development object,has created the Revolutionary Base in Eastern Guizhou which the geographical scope includes Yanhe,Yinjiang,Dejiang,Songtao,Youyang,Xiushan counties and so on,the Base has lasted for half a year,more than 200 miles,nearly 100 thousand of the population.In order to develop the Base area,deal with the relations with the ethnic minorities,get in the support of the masses,the Red Army not only to restore the party organization and power system which is disbanded and destroyed by ‘purges ',and also implement the Communist Party of China 's national policy and the United Front Work in view of the present situation of minority areas in Eastern Guizhou.In order to strengthen the revolutionary forces and protect the people which lived in Eastern Guizhou,the Red Army carried out the construction of the workers and peasants' armed forces.The Agrarian Revolution and the development of industrial and agricultural production were also carried out to help people to advance and broke the economic blockade of the enemy.The development of the region's education culture and health care in the region has also been promoted,the construction of Soviet area has had an important influence on the society for Eastern Guizhou.This paper is based on the policy and principles of the Communist Party of Chinaduring the Agrarian Revolution,and the activities of the Red Army in the Soviet Area of Eastern Guizhou before the Long March as the research object,and the relevant policy documents issued by the Red Army in East Guizhou as a entry point,this paper tries to make a comprehensive and in-depth interpretation of the activities carried out by the Red Army in the Soviet Area in the Eastern Guizhou.
