E-C Translation Norms For Huanqiu Financial News Headlines

This thesis,based on the author's internship experience in Huanqiu Financial Channel,takes financial news headlines released by Huanqiu as its subject.Supported by concept research,corpus analysis and questionnaires,it studies the E-C translation norms for Huanqiu financial news headlines both on macro and micro levels under the guidance of Toury's translation norms.Specifically,this thesis takes Huanqiu financial news characteristics,reader demands,media positioning and other factors into consideration to construct the preliminary norms for Huanqiu financial news headline translation on the macro level,including the value concept,stance or attitude demonstrated by Huanqiu in the dissemination process.Then,based on the preliminary norms,corresponding operational norms on the micro level are proposed,in an effort to provide targeted and feasible suggestions for the new translators of Huanqiu Financial Channel.
