This report,which is based on the translation of “ Shared Cognitive-Emotional-Interactional Platforms: Makers and Conditions for Successful Interdisciplinary Collaborations”,aims to give a detailed description of translation process and translation methods.The report consists of four parts:task description,process description,case analysis and summary.Case analysis,as the third part,is the core part of the practices analysis.Under the guidance of Skopos theory and especially its three principles,the writer analyzes some problems,especially some difficult sentences.The summary as the essential part of this report explains personal improvements and inspirations drawn from this translation practice.By writing this report,the writer has not only improved her translation ability,but also learned the markers and conditions for successful interdisciplinary collaborations.Besides,the translator has a better understanding of translation: to be a qualified translator,one should not only have high professional skills,but also need to make full use of the knowledge of the differences between Chinese and English and deal with the difficult sentences with more flexible translation strategies.
