Discusses The Popularization Of Dunhuang Bianwen

Dunhuang Bianwen is one of the most valuable and popular literary writing volume,the paper mainly surrounds Bianwen in the Dunhuang manuscripts as the research object,starting to conduct a thorough analysis of the theme and content,ideological tendency of the concrete text,and exploring the characteristics of its form of performance.This paper mainly consists of five parts.Part one makes a literature review of current research toward Bianwen to determine the concept for Bianwen and the scope for this article.By combing relative documents,this paper argues that Bianwen serves as a popular XieJuan of singing Bianwen between the Tang Dynasty and Wudai period,It is a rap and dancer art.Bianwen is influenced by both Chinese traditional literature and Indian Buddhist literature.In addition,according to the essential characteristics of rap story with several pictures of Bianwen and all existing XieJuan.It clarifies 21 articles which are in the telling and singing literature for existing Dunhuang within the scope of Bianwen.Part two focuses on analyzing the features of the visualization of the theme and content for Bianwen,it starts mainly from two aspects of Buddhist Bianwen and Secular Bianwen.Buddhist Bianwen includes plot an content with mixed traditional classics,which is a distinctive feature.At the same time,most of Bianwen story are recorded in more detail in the Buddhist scriptures.But compared with Buddhist scriptures,Bianwen words are more lively.These characteristics make Buddhism Bianwen present the characteristics with education combined with narrative,Secular Bianwen shows the features with history and reality.Part three mainly discusses the problems on secularization of evolution tendency for Bianwen.Buddhist Bianwen have a clear theme with propagandizing the Buddhist doctrine.On the one hand,the Buddha disciple shows the mysterious Buddhist esoteric with Bianwen as the literary form to the people who live in the lower class.On the other hand,they make profound prajnaparamita and zen drive to the direction of secularization and folklore with gradual development in order to cater and meet the local people's ideological demand at that time.In the Buddhist Bianwen,this transformation embodies as hell trial ideology,Karma cycle of ideology,charity ideology and develops from pure Buddhist ideology to "three religions fusion".Part four is aimed at the transformation of form of performance for Bianwen.Bianwen serves as folk singing XieJuan between the Tang Dynasty and Wudai period,whose form of performance calls what is known as the "transformation".Before Dunhuang XieJuan which is discovered,people have little attention to rare records ofBianwen and singing XieJuan among the literatures.This part tries to pry into the characteristics of form of performance for Bianwen from these records.Part five discusses the significance and influence popularization for Dunhuang Bianwen.It mainly analyzes from three aspects.First of all,Bianwen is not only the further performance of "Sinicization" of Buddhism,but also accelerates the process of "Sinization" of Buddhism.Second,Bianwen propagandizes the dominant traditional Chinese society's mainstream values.Third,the Bianwen is the origin of the later secular literature.Whether in its form of performance or theme and content,Bianwen has a profound influence on the later literature.
