Preposition's Research In Dunhuang Bianwen

The period of late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties is the demarcation point of ancient Chinese and modern Chinese,and this period was important in the study of Chinese history.Ancient Chinese prepositions have fully and deeply researched in the classical Chinese ancient books of the pre-Qin and Han dynasties,the ChanZong quotation in Tang and Song dynasties,YuanQu,and novels in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Those research summarized some features and evolution of ancient Chinese prepositions.Research of prepositions was relatively weak in the period of late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties.My thesis based on the Dunhuang Bianwen is to build up the preposition system in late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties to make up some shortcomings of the current study of the history of ancient Chinese prepositions.Dunhuang Bianwen was popular colloquial literature in the late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties in monasteries and fork.It contains a lot of colloquial words and spoken words,playing an irreplaceable role in the history of the language.It has the very high value of linguistics and literary value..This paper includes:(1)collect and analyze the prepositions of Dunhuang Bianwen in detail.On this basis,it fully researches prepositions by the methods of the static description and diachronic comparison,combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis and Ancient Chinese,Dialect,Mandarin.(2)To use the above research methods,it also analyzes the preposition collocation components,syntactic function of preposition phrases and distribution of prepositional phrases.Through the analysis of the above research,we have found that the prepositions of Dunhuang Bianwen have the following features:One,prepositions in the Dunhuang Bianwen inherited and developed the prepositions which were former.Two,the majority of prepositions in dunhuang changes appeared in the modern Chinese prepositional system.The use of prepositions in modern Chinese has been largely in the prose of dunhuang.Three,the basic prepositions and preposition frameworks in modern Chinese are already available in the text of dunhuang.Some prepositions are still used in some modern Chinese dialect systems.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction mainly from the dunhuang bianwen"introduction","dunhuang bianwen preposition research overview","the article related research theory and research method","Chinese history periodization","the purpose and value","source language","symbol" and other aspects.The second part including chapter one,two,three,four and five,is also a main part of this thesis.Divideing the prepositions in Dunhuang Bianwen into five big aspects,they are" space prepositions ","object prepositions","disposal tools preposition","how kind of preposition" and "passive preposition".It discusses preposition usage and analyzes corpora.On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of Dunhuang Bianwen prepositions,this part explains and analyzes the collocation of composition,the preposition syntactic function of preposition phrases and distribution of prepositional phrase in detail.The third part is chapter six..It explains characteristics of preposition system in Dunhuang Bianwen from the macroscopic view.
