Base on the methodology of Small Triangle Theory,this paper studies the outside form,semantic and pragmatic valuation on the format of “Yue X Yue Y” in mother tongue and HSK dynamic composition corpus.Through analysis,wesummarize the common errors which the foreign leaners often make when using this format and find the reason why they make these errors.Meanwhile,this paper also investigates several common Chinese textbooks and syllabuses,found that they all draw attention to the outside form,and ignore the semantic and pragmatic value in the language teaching.In response to these phenomena,we provide a lamination teaching method about “Yue X Yue Y”.Firstly this paper reviews the main contents of Small Triangle Theory,“Yue X Yue Y”both in native language study and teaching Chinese as a foreign language study.Secondly,it studies and summarizes the features of “Yue X Yue Y”in native language base on the Small Triangle Theory.Find that the format of “Yue X Yue Y” has 8 kinds outside forms.We investigate the semantic from three parts,first one is dependent variable relation,second one is semantic features and third one is syntactical relation.We also generalize that this format can express temporal change,contrast and spotlight the focal information.Nextly,we summarize the characteristics of “Yue X Yue Y” from correct forms and errors base onthe usage of advancedforeign students,categorizeseveral error types and error causes whenleaners use this format.Through these researches,we find that foreign learners can not understand semantic and pragmatic valuation on the format of “Yue X Yue Y” clearly.And then,weexamine the syllabus and textbooks of “Yue X Yue Y” in the outside form,semantic and pragmatic valuation.According to the forecitedresearches,weput forward a lamination teaching method about “Yue X Yue Y”,and propose some targeted recommendations about “Yue X Yue Y”in the final part.
