Research On Graphical Calliqraphy Desiqn Of Traditional Mongolian

It is not well known that Mongolian people have their own characters like Han people do.Since those regions among which using Mongolian characters as official language have been narrowing,people who use and know traditional Mongolian characters are getting fewer and fewer.The Traditional Mongolian characters are alphabetic vertical text writing from left to right.The publishing of Mongolian books stared late,referred to narrow fields,and designed in single type of graphical calligraphy.But they usually attract visitors' focus by graphical visual display on exhibition.The vertical text writing of traditional Mongolian indicates its limitation in communication,and also causes fewer audiences to use it.Therefore,it will be more important to attract attention from people especially young people by accelerating the spread of traditional Mongolian and publishing more reading stuff.Comparing with Chinese characters,Mongolian characters have their own features of structure,like upper and lower structure and absolute structure.White horse had very important position in ancient Mongolian people's minds,while traditional Mongolian characters shape like bristles of horse,which can also reflect their nature worship.If rotate the Mongolian character with 90 degree,you will find some similarities between Mongolian characters and Chinese characters in outline.This seems to indicate the culture integration among different peoples.According to the development and features of traditional Mongolian characters what I mention above,this paper will probe and research the traditional Mongolian characters as below:1.The graphical display in traditional Mongolian characters.2.Graphical research on structures of different characters combining with traditional Mongolian characters.3.The performance of Mongolian characters in folk custom culture.The significance of doing such research of calligraphy design can figure out the meanings of characters summarily,vividly and prominently.It also can trigger people's passion for characters,and to promote the development of characters.This paper contains five chapters.Chapter one is introduction,which talks about the daily using of traditional Mongolian characters,the application of calligraphy design of traditional Mongolian characters at home and abroad,and also some problems.Chapter two is the theoretical analysis of the development and features of traditional Mongolian characters.Chapter three talks about the expression of Mongolian characters on calligraphy design.Chapter four is the explanation of some design according to my analysis.Chapter five is the summary and analysis of experiences and feelings brought by traditional Mongolian characters to average people in experiments.
