A Study On The Relationship Among Resilience,Life Events And Social Adaptation Of The New Citizens' Children

New Citizens' children are faced with more serious social adaptation and mental health problems due to their own particularity.In this study,new citizens' children are taken as the object,to explore the influence of life events on the social adaptation and the role of resilience.The Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check-list(ASLEC),Health Kids Resilience Assessment(HKRA)and Social Adaptability Scale(SAS)are used to measure the 384 new citizens' children and 372 local children both from a rural-urban fringe zone middle school in Ningbo.The results showed that:(1)There is no significant difference between the lives of new citizens' and local children.New citizens' in the grade of significant differences,the higher the grade,the greater the score of life events,indicating that senior students experience more life events;The local children appeared Grade 8 phenomenon,Grade 8 students life events is higher than other grades.With the transfer number increase,average children of new citizens life events is also higher.(2)New citizens' and local children in the social adaptation ability and each factor is not significant,and in gender,grade and whether the only child have no significant difference.(3)New citizens' and the local children in mental toughness and all factors had no significant difference.The overall mental toughness of new citizens' children with transfer times change and there is a significant difference,to 1 times the children of new citizens to develop strong internal positive cognitive changes to life the 0 time,and transfer the children of new citizens because of the long-term in the local life,social support and other external resources transferred 1 times better than the children of new citizens.(4)The resilience of the new citizens has a fully mediated role between life events and social adaptation.It is found that the model has a good fitting index and the complete mediating effect between the resilience and the life event and social adaptation is further established by establishing the structural equation model with resilience as the mediator variable.Through the investigation of children's mental toughness to adapt to the new public intermediary role between life events and the ability of society,not only helps to explain how to adjust the children of new citizens is cognition and behavior in order to adapt to the social environment,more conducive to the development of new citizens' children developing preventive counseling courses provide the basis.
