Study Ofeditorial Notes In Thechinese New Word And Expressions Dictionary Of 100 Years

The Chinese New words and Expressions Dictionary of 100 years(the following referred to as Big Dictionary)develops editorial notes,mainly illustrates the origins and the construction of the words,introduces their social and historical background or knowledge involved,improves the practical value of the book to a certain extent.This article,from the internal and external,vertical and horizontal point of views,to analyses the editorial notes in the dictionary,and study editorial notes from the viewpoint of the lexicography,discusses and illustrates the laws,gain and loss of editorial writing,and preliminary discussed the specifications of editorialwriting.This paper includes the following five chapters:The first chapter briefly introduces the value of editorial notes in the Big dictionary and its latest research present situation,point out its achievements and disadvantages,states the study idea of this article,the study objective and significance,study methods in this paper.The second chapter,according to the content and nature of editorial notes,divides them into the kind of root,discrimination,explain,supplementary explanation,and comprehensive five kinds,analyzes the characteristics of each kind of editorial notes.Then take some examples to explain editorial notes three kinds of problems such as omissions,confusion cross and imbalance with annotate.Finally,summarizes the characteristics of editorial notes.The third chapter,mainly does the longitudinal comparison research,compares the Big Dictionary with Ci Tong and Wang Li Ancient Chinese Dictionary,views their similarities,identifies their differences from the perspective of Ci Tong,Wang Li Ancient Chinese Dictionary.Specifically,compared with Ci Tong,Big Dictionary is still some way to go in style,writing method,and the quality of content three aspects.Compared with the Wang li ancient Chinese dictionary,there are differences on contents of editorial notes and its distribution,writing method.Finally,on this base,briefly summarizes the gains and losses of editorial notes inthe Big Dictionary and analyzes its causes.The fourth chapter evaluates the editorial notes inthe Big Dictionary,summarizes the characteristics of editorial notes in the Big Dictionary,that are complementary,contemporaneity,comprehensive and practical.At the same time,combined with the specific examples to study of the laws of editorial writingofthe Big Dictionary,preliminary discusses the specifications of editorial notes in dictionaries and puts forward some corresponding suggestions.The fifth chapter,presents the contents above,summarizes the innovation and deficiencies of this article,and puts forward the idea of researching in the future.
