Study Of The Colloquial Words In San Guo Zhi And Pei's Notes

SanGuoZhi is one of the first of four histories records and an important historical book to the medieval history.The sixty-five volumes of include thirty volumes of WeiZhi,fifteen volumes of ShuZhi and twenty volumes of WuZhi.Pei Songzhi made a note for SanGuoZhi,adding a lot of historical facts,including the language materials at that time.SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes have high historical value and linguistic value,and are important materials for language studying in Wei and Jin Dynasties.This paper makes a research on the colloquial words in SanGuoZhi.The author sorts out all the colloquial words,conducts related research on lexicology,and explores the historical materials deeply,providing a kind of glimpse into the overview of the colloquial words in the medieval history.The paper has five parts as follow:The first chapter is introduction,It mainly introduces the version and research status of SanGuoZhi,and discusses the research significance and research value of SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes.The second chapter introduces the definitions from various researcher firstly.And after determining the criteria for colloquial words,so as to find out the words in the SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes.The third chapter mainly sort out the colloquial words which have researched and provide some examples for them.Meanwhile,I find out a small number of colloquial words in the SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes by my own efforts.The forth chapter studies SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes from the perspective of lexicology,and analyzes the synchronic description from three aspects: syllable structure,word's class investigation and semantic analysis.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the use of the SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes in diachronic aspects,including the inheritance of the pre-Qin and Han dynasties,the new words and new meanings produced in the medieval history,and the influence on the colloquial words of the modern Chinese.The sixth chapter explores the significance of the colloquial of SanGuoZhi and Pei's notes on the compilation of the Great Chinese Dictionary in the three aspects of increasing the missing words,adding missing meanings and providing appropriate examples.
