Sisheng Pianhai is a large dictionary in Jin Dynasty.It inherited and developed the previous generation of wordbooks,which called Lei Yu Pian Hai.The wordbook was complied by Han Xiaoyan and his son Han Daozhao of Jin dynasty.This book not only inherited Yu Pian,but also opened the wordbook named ZiHui and it had important significance on the compilation of future dictionaries.However because of the book had handed for a long time and had various editions,so now most of us use the Ming Dynast's version.We found the Ming Dynast's version was a quite remote time from the Mother edition and also had a lot of mistakes.Now this paper chooses the version of Tai He,which is nearly the Mother version.We compare the Tai He version with the Ming Dynast's version and use the chinese exegetic ?textual criticism to study the two kinds of Pianhai on letter? phonetic notation?definition and so on.The paper firetly compared the two kinds of wordbook with a eyes of comparative study and found the difference on letter?phonetic notation?definition and so on.Then analyze this dirrerences from compiling and copying.Lasly we summarized the meaning of our study.The value is mainly manifested in the existing best and correct results of support materials;at the same time,we can correct the error results.
