Study On The PianHai(Chapters 6 To 11) Revised In ChongZhen Years

SiSheng PianHai is a large-scale dictionary of the Jin Dynasty,which inherits the dictionary of Lei Yu Pian Hai,citing from other books extensively.It collects folk character widely,compiles radicals by 36 initial consonants,lists characters by strokes,adopts new formats and is easy to refer.It has been fashionable for a time and had an important impact on the compilation of later wordbooks since its publication.It was revised in Jin,Yuan and Ming dynasties,and have multiple versions,of which the more commonly used is the Ming versions.However,some errors are inevitably after it has been revised many times.The PianHai revised in Chongzhen years are stored in the National Library,which inherits the version revised in WanLi years in Ming Dynasty,and have a slight adjustment.The scholars have not paid enough attention to it and do not so much research.Hanyu Da Zi Dian have taken the version of ChongZhen years,so we compares the version of ChongZhen with ones of other period.It is not only beneficial to the collation of PianHai,but also of great significance to the improvement of the Grand Chinese Dictionary.This paper compares multiple versions in Jin,Yuan and Ming Dynasties,findsing some contrasts between the chinese characters?phonetic symbols?paraphrase and cited symbols.The differences of the chinese characters are mainly embody in the following three aspects:word number?word order and shape.The phonetic symbols are reflected in the different phonetic items,the different way of phonetic notation and the different phonetic words.the paraphrase are embody in the number of meanings and the difference of interpretation.the cited symbols are embody in difference and absence.on the basis of comparative analysis,this thesis explain the cause of the differences from two aspects of copying and revision.Finally,the paper carry out a detailed study of the illustrations in the PianHai which are cited by the Grand Chinese Dictionary,and points the errors.Attempting to help the text revision and perfect of the Grand Chinese Dictionary.
