Research And Analysis On Teaching Of Chinese Language Between Chinese Department Of National University Of Modern Languages And Confucius Institute, Pakistan

For the development of Chinese language and propagation of Chinese culture in Pakistan, Chinese language council international(Hanban) had set up Confucius institute with “National University of Modern Languages Management and Sciences”Islamabad in 2004. Where the Chinese department of home institution has already grown up in teaching Chinese with the age of 46 years.Investigation and research has been carried out on both of Chinese language teaching institutions for the purpose to find out the areas where the teaching of Chinese language can be improved. This thesis is based on the research on current situation of teaching Chinese in Confucius institute and Chinese department and analysis of teaching standard and student satisfaction.The methodology has been adopted for research investigation is questionnaire method, interviews and observation. Detailed report has been made on the basis of the facts and data collection. Research involved the important elements; language institutions, their teaching faculty, students and the teaching environment.The first chapter introduces the reasons and significance of this research with the brief introduction. Second chapter tells us about the university Chinese department and Confucius institute status with all angles. Chapter three is based on research report on two institutions and their analysis.Finally in the last chapter four, there is the conclusion of the research findings,suggestions and along with the shortcomings in the research.
