Content: This thesis aims to analysis subversion and overstep of the film "lust,caution" directed by Ang Lee.I situate my study in the context of the war films,love movies and spy movies,analysis this film from three aspects: the subject design,the forms of characterization and the aesthetic styles.There are three chapters in this thesis:Chapter one: Situate the film "lust,caution" in the context of the war films and affectional films,then analysis its design a love story that transcends ideology,how it subvert the traditional concept of lust and caution and the prominence of the individual in the war.Chapter two: Analysis the forms of characterization in the film "lust,caution".There are two protagonists in the film,a female agent named WangJiazhi,a man named Yi Mocheng,he is a traitor.Analysis its individual how to overcome the collective consciousness of discipline,eventually overthrow as that of the female agent.Show the life,the work,really the real love to explore Mr Yi.The protagonists will be saved from the shackles of political identity and become a real "person".Chapter three: Focus on the film technology and the combination with Ang Lee's movie myth,Analysis its composition and poetic voice processing as a means of expressing character psychology,show the unique art in this film.Epilogue: Summarize the subversion of the film "lust,caution" in fight films,love films and spay movies,and points out that the film break through the bottleneck for Chinese war movies and discusses the significance of this film.
